I have a long-standing passion for embedded systems and for connecting devices in meaningful and reliable ways. My work and curiosity revolve around Cellular IoT, including running my own private LTE lab network “for fun and profit,” and exploring the intricacies of cellular protocols and technologies.
A big part of my focus is on solving communication challenges for constrained, battery-powered, intermittently connected devices. I enjoy working with and advocating for protocols such as BLE, Thread, LTE Cat-1/M/NB, CoAP, LwM2M, MQTT-SN, Protobuf, CBOR, and ZeroMQ, which provide the building blocks for efficient and robust IoT systems we build at sevenlab engineering.
Since 2019, I have been an enthusiastic supporter and sometimes an unrelenting promoter of the Zephyr Real-Time Operating System. I believe Zephyr is shaping the future of open, secure, and flexible embedded development, and I love contributing to its growth and adoption.
